By using Secure Messaging (“the Service”) you confirm that you agree to these Terms of Use and you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use then please immediately stop using this Service. We may change these Terms of Use at any time, it is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use regularly in case of any changes.

By using this Service you consent to the processing of data as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

You must only use this Service for legal and acceptable purpose. You will not use the Service in ways that are obscene, illegal, threatening, intimidating, harassing, defamatory or are racially, ethnically or sexually offensive, or encourage conduct that would be deemed illegal or inappropriate. You must not store or send viruses or other harmful code through the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account and your device safe and secure and you should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been comprised or is being used without your authorisation.

If you violate these Terms we may take action in respect of your account including disabling or suspension. If we suspend your account you must not create another without our permission.

By using the Service you acknowledge that your agreement with your mobile network provider will apply and that you may be charged for data services whilst using specific features within the Service, and that you are responsible for such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device being used to access the Service then you will be assumed to have received permission from the bill payer for using the Service.

In no event shall we be liable to you with respect to use of the Service and / or be liable to you for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages including without limitation, damages for loss of goodwill, lost profits or loss, theft or corruption of your information, the inability to use the Service, device failure of malfunction.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which we use any data collected about the usage of Secure Messaging (“the Service”) and relates only to data collected via the Service and no other website or software. By using this Service you agree to this Privacy Policy, if you do not agree then please do not use this Service.

The Service requires that you register for an account with your name and email address. This is the minimum information we need to ensure the Service is operable. You may optionally add other information to your account. Account information is stored, encrypted, on UK-based servers. All messages, images, photos, files and documents that you send and receive through the Service are end-to-end encrypted and stored on UK-based servers. Data is stored for an agreed retention period (usually one year) before it is deleted.

Additional information is also collected during use of the Service including usage and activity data, information about devices and operating systems used to access the Service, how long the Service is being used for and where location sharing has been enabled we may collect data about your location. Collecting this information helps us monitor usage of the Service, diagnose faults, make improvements and analyse system performance. This data is not used for any marketing purposes.

We use cookies to remember choices and preferences that you have set whilst using the Service. You can modify your settings for cookies in your browser or device, but changing settings may result in the Service not functioning correctly.
